Phil Hughes got the win today in Arizona Fall League Action.

5 IP, 1 R, 4 H (Run was an HR), 1 walk and 3 Ks.

In his two starts, Phil has pitched 10 innings, 1 run, 5 hits, 6 walks (the first start was after a two week delay from the end of the MLB season to the beginning of the AFL) and 10 K.

Juan Miranda was 2 for 4 with another double. He is 8 for 12 so far in the Arizona Fall League in 3 games. 4 doubles, 2 triples.

Jeff Marquez pitched a scoreless inning today. He has 3 scoreless innings in so far. 4 K. (Gotta love that pitching coach, Scott Aldred!)

Austin Jackson started 2 for 4. Since then? 1 for 17.

Kevin Russo is struggling at a 1 for 13.

Great to see Hughes doing well as I said in the comments in your previous post Mike I hope to see Hughes in the rotation half way through next season with him starting in AAA.
