    I’ve been misty-eyed for much of the day just thinking about this as the last day in Yankee Stadium. I’m sure I’ll be gushing during the pre-game ceremonies. Sad day, very sad. Much is changing and this would be infinitely easier to take with a WS run, alas.

    My daughter was watching ESPN showing classic innings at Yankee Stadium with her Yankees cap on, all unsolicited. There is certainly hope for the next generation, thankfully.
