AAA: SWB won 5-2. Justin Christian hit a 2-run HR and J. D Closser had a 3-run HR for the runs. Ohlendorf started, 3 IP, 1 R. J. B. Cox 2 scoreless (1.59) for the win.
AA: Trenton lost 4-1. George Kontos 5 IP, 4 R, 3 ER. (3-8, 3.39).
A+: Tampa shut out 4-0. Grant Duff 3 R in 4 IP (1-5, 3.27).
A: Charleston was shut out also. 7-0. Lance Pendleton 5 R, 4 ER, in 4 IP (6-4, 2.64).
Not much to discuss from an offensive standpoint. “Where’s the bats?” extended through the system.
Chris Britton threw a scoreless IP (rehab) for the GCL Rookie League Yanks. So did Humberto Sanchez.
