Pinstripe Prospects: The Minor League Report.

AAA: If you didn’t hear it on YFCR, good news. Tonight marked Alan Horne’s return from the DL and he did well. A little more control and command would have been ok, but not bad for the first time back. 4 IP, 1 R, 3 H, two walks and 7 Ks. The game (as of 8 pm) is delayed, with a tie score. David Robertson pitched three scoreless innings, 4 K. Gardner 2 hits, .300, 2 SB (25). Matt Carson 3 hits, .357 at AAA. Scott Patterson gave up a run in one inning.

UPDATE, 9:40 PM…the game was suspended.

AA: Trenton got a GW double by Reegie Corona (2 hits) in the bottom of the 9th to win 3-2. Eric Hacker gave up 1 R in 6 1/3. 4 H,  2 walks, 7 K. 3.14 ERA since the callup to AA. Ramiro Pena 2 hits, double, RBI, .291. Austin Jackson 2 hits, RBI, .275. Jose Tabata 2 hits, .248.

A (advanced): Four in the 8th gave Tampa a 9-8 win. Kevin Smith a 3-run HR. 3 hits for Mitch Hilligoss, 2 RBI for Jim Cooper. Benji Gil and Eduardo Nunez each had 2 hits, 1 RBI.

A: Charleston lost 6-4. Noel Castillo, 6-3, 3.33 gave up 4 in 6 IP. Gabe Medina 2 R in 2 IP. Justin Snyder (.305) 2 hits, double, RBI. Two hits, HR for Austin Krum.
