Got to agree.

In case you are wondering, I took a day today. It’s been snowing all day and I didn’t want to take a chance. It isn’t sticking, and I probably could have gone in, but forecasts were for maybe a foot of snow from Thursday morning through Friday with very heavy winds coming later Thursday night. I don’t know about you, but I believe if I go in, I should be able to come out. Driving home in “whiteout” conditions isn’t for me. Better safe than sorry. I don’t need an accident, injury or the ultimate.

You probably heard about Tony Kornheiser’s suspension and why. Over on Fox, Jason Whitlock gives his take, and the more I think about it, the more I agree with Whitlock.

To which—what is/was Hannah Storm thinking?

Now Hannah is attractive. That is the problem. Is the outfit she wore too much? The thing to consider here is the sensitivity of where she works at. She has to be aware of, founded or unfounded, the frequent sexual discrimination problems that ESPN has had to deal over the past few years, from Woody Paige to Steve Phillips to Harold Reynolds to Jay Crawford. She has to be aware of Joe Namath wanting to kiss Suzy Kolber and of some loony stalking and videotaping Erin Andrews.

Now I won’t go all Deadspin on you (that website really takes ESPN to task for the, shall I say, frat boy mentality?), but as such, Hannah should also realize that with all that recent, sordid past on ESPN, that it might be better to have people watch a sportscaster for the sports content rather than for the sportscaster.

In other words, watch what is being advertised. ESPN shouldn’t stand for the Extra Sexual Presentation Network.

Some things may be best left to one’s imagination, with the reality to one’s husband.
