Like today.

Rob Neyer responds, and quite well, to a blog by Rob Cameron. If you have a 100 win team as presently constructed in your state of mind, how much $$$$$$ (read, Boras, Damon, Holliday or whatever), do you want to spend in order to upgrade it to a 103 win team? Is there that much of a difference as far as making the playoffs? Would you trade 3 wins for $15 million dollars? Think it is worth it?

You know what I’m getting at here. If the Yanks are good enough at present (and, remember, you still have to play the games) for 100 wins, would it be worth Damon or Holliday for 103?
