It isn’t fair to out the PED user list one name at a time, but another name came out today. First A-Rod, then Manny (guilty this year but now confirmed on the 2003 list), Sosa and now Big Papi.

Innocent until proven guilty. I had my suspicions now it seems that they are confirmed. I know it won’t happen, but in the interest of fairness to those already named, ALL the users should be named in my opinion. Some will argue against it, but what are we going to have? A “User of the month” club where one user gets named off the list for the next 100 months?

Tonight’s lineup. The Red Sox won today, with help of a HR from Big Fatty. Guess he needed that big butt for… well, you know.

Nothing on the trade front regarding the Yanks. With Gardner out, I see a Corey Patterson rumor out there. Patterson was just .205-10-34-14 (OPS+ 48) for Cincy last year. 2 for 15 for the Nats this year. .274-7-40 for the Nats AAA team. Wait a minute. He couldn’t make the NATIONALS?

I mean… him over promoting A-Jax? Patterson is 30. I know you don’t want A-Jax to sit and rust…so USE HIM. Give guys (Damon, Swisher, Melky) a day off. A-Jax is 22, .312-4-39 and 17 of 19 in SB at SWB. Ok, the K’s are a bit high (90). But Corey Patterson (168 K in 2004, career OPS+ 79)? Ugh.
