AA: 10-1 win for Trenton. Jorge Vazquez with a HR. At .335-12-47, you wonder what the Yanks will do with the 1B. Although at AA, he may be higher on the depth chart than Miranda, but with Teix, Hinske and Swisher, he’s stuck. Montero 3 for 4 with an RBI and he’s now at .346 !!! at AA. Only 19 and was at .356 at A+ when promoted. A catcher, so no leg hits.
I’m drooling.
2 hits, HR, 5 RBI for Kyle Anson tonight. With Cervelli, Montero, Romine and the newly signed Sanchez, all other catchers in the system (Anson, Pilittere, Stewart, Cash) will get overlooked…and soon.
